Casey Perrin

My name is Casey Perrin, I am 22 years old, originally from Oxford, Nova Scotia but now living in Halifax. I graduated with honors from Oxford Regional Education Center in 2010. In 2011 I graduated with honors with a certificate in Office Administration from Nova Scotia Comminjuty College. In June of 2011 I was involved in an ATV accident resulting in paraplegia and traumatic brain injury. Currently I am a student in the Bachelor of Arts program at Mount Saint Vincent University. In high school I was active in sports, I played point guard on our basketball team, which won provincials I also played catcher and second baseman on our silver medal softball team. In 2013 I met Pamela Lejean, who said to me “come throw with me I need a chick to throw with”  so I tried it, I was not very good at it but it was fun and it was something to work towards to be as good as Pam.  Good coach, good team, excellent opportunities seems to be a good fit for me. This year I competed in my first International competition in Dubai now I have plans to go to Nationals and hopefully Para Pan Am Games this summer.
