Brett Babcock

Hi, my name is Brett. I grew up in Kingston Ontario my whole life. I was a force to be reckoned with in the sport of trampoline gymnastics. By the age of 14 I was a member of the National team. I competed in competitions all around the world from places like New Zealand, Russia and Japan. I sustained my spinal cord injury after I moved to Edmonton to further my trampoline. It was there in 2012 that my neck was broken. Recollecting my thoughts in the hospital, instantaneously I knew had to pick myself up, dust it off and shift focus to becoming a new athlete. I have the foundation and fundamentals of what it takes, it's a matter of time and practice. Outside of track and field, I'm studying my Bachelors of Communications at Carleton University.
